History states that those who do not learn from the past are doomed to repeat it. This time of year our attention is focused on what should have been the greatest lesson we should have ever learnt. Thousands of Canadians made the ultimate sacrifice in the hopes we would learn and prevent an inevitable repeat.
We are surrounded by examples, today, that maybe this lesson has not been learnt or worse, it has been forgot.
Tomorrow, generations later, as we gather at cenotaph and memorial sites, please take the time to reflect on this harsh lesson and be proactive in ensuring it does not happen again.
LEST WE FORGET
In observance of Remembrance Day our offices will be closed tomorrow November 11, 2025.
