Christmas can be a financially stressful time of year for many families and this year is even more amplified due to Covid-19 challenges, so we hope a small act of kindness alleviates some of that burden. Teamster members from the automotive, courier and construction divisions joined forces to deliver nearly 2,700 lbs of fresh locally grown vegetables to the Community Food Sharing Association.
Special thanks to James and John Ade (sons of Shop Steward Jim Ade), Landon Rideout and Jacob Dawe for continuing their annual veggie fundraiser for CBS Boxing Club and helping deliver the veggies. Santa’s unionized helpers did a great job!
